28th edition of the Africa-France Summit on 4, 5 and 6 June 2020

The Africa-France Summit will be held in the city of Bordeaux from 4 to 6 June 2020 and will be entirely dedicated to solutions for sustainable cities and territories, a major concern for French and African decision-makers, given the accelerated urbanization.

The aim is to bring together more than 500 French and African companies, with the possibility of organising personalised business meetings between 15,000 participants. All themes will be represented : (i) Transport and mobility; (ii) Retail trade and agribusiness; (iii) Access to essential services (health, housing, energy, etc.); (iv) Innovation, technology and digital; (v) Project financing and structuring (banks, investors, donors, etc.). The Summit will be a great platform for developing partnerships with African countries and companies.

This is the first time that an Africa-France Summit is thus devoted to a subject that concerns the private sector so much. A "City of Solutions", a real trade fair and exhibition, organized in the form of 7 thematic districts, will indeed be an integral part of the Summit. It will bring together some 500 French and African exhibitors (in equal numbers), 15,000 visitors and will host some 150 speeches. It will be inaugurated by the Heads of State, who will spend the whole day of 5 June there with public decision-makers. It is expected that African and French companies will be able to present their solutions, products or innovations related to the city in the broadest sense of the term and including the economic activities of the territories.

Whether you are a company, mayor or local authority manager, project leader, project funder or member of civil society, you are all invited to participate in the Summit and the Cité des Solutions to meet contacts and resources necessary for your activity and benefit from the visibility of the Summit and the partnership with Digital Africa to give a boost to your initiatives.
