7th edition of the FRENCH BUSINESS CLUB
The French Business Club organized its seventh meeting on the 21st of April 2016. Chaired by the Ambassador of France to Namibia, H.E. Jacqueline Bassa-Mazzoni, and the managing director of AREVA in Namibia, Hilifa Mbako, it brought together French and Namibian representatives of French companies present in Namibia.
Two presentations, one by Daniel Kavishe, Research Manager at FNB Namibia, on the “Business climate update and perspectives”, the other by Gregory Sidrac, Sector Advisor for Southern Africa at the Regional Economic Service in Pretoria on the “Tools to support French exports”, led to lively and fruitful exchanges of views and experiences between the participants.

This 7th edition provided the opportunity to exchanges of quality with the President, Mr. Kombadayedu KAPWANGA, and the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Veston Malango of the Namibian Chamber of Mines, who emphasized the possible synergies between this strategic activity for Namibian development and the French expertise in areas like water, energy and transport infrastructures.
