Applying for a French visa in Namibia

The Embassy of France in Namibia does not issue visas.

Short stay visas (Schengen visas)

Short-stay visas (less than three months) for mainland France, also known as Schengen visas, are issued by the German Embassy in Windhoek

Warning : from May to August, the waiting time to obtain an appointment at the german Embassy may be around 2 months.

Other types of visas

People residing in Namibia who wish to apply for a short stay visa in Overseas departments and regions (DROM) and in the communities and Overseas territories (CTOM) or for a long stay visa in France (longer than three months) are invited to submit their applications to the consulate general of France in Johannesburg.
