Elemotho gets the 2012 Discoveries Award from RFI [fr]

The French Embassy rejoices in informing you that the Namibian singer Elemotho won on October 2nd the 2012 ("Découvertes") Discoveries Award from Radio France Internationale (RFI; available on 107.9 Mhz in the region of Windhoek, thanks to an agreement with NBC) and France 24, respectively the leading French radio for round-the clock international news and the international French TV news channel. This reward is, among other things, linked to a tour in France and Africa.

Since he has been starting his career, Elemotho has received support from the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC) in Windhoek. The FNCC has helped him to produce his first two albums and it will also be a partner for the coming album to be released on December 1st at the Playhouse Theatre in Windhoek.

The French Embassy and the FNCC wish to congratulate Elemotho and wish him all the best for the future of his career.
