French Development Agency’s mission in Namibia: January 25 to 29, 2016
The AFD (French Development Agency) was in Windhoek from the 25th to the 29th January to work in collaboration with local institutions to implement the Sustainable Use of Resources and Energy Finance (SUNREF) program in Namibia.
This program helps promoting small and medium projects concerning renewable energies, eco-tourism, sustainable agriculture and the protection of biodiversity.
Through credit facilities and technical assistance to local banks, it aims at fostering investment by the private sector in green energy.

On this occasion, the Ambassador, Jacqueline Bassa-Mazzoni, the AFD Deputy Regional Director, Arthur Germond, the AFD Investment Officer, Camille Lot, were received by the Deputy Minister of Mines and Energy, Kornelia Shilunga.
