Namibia: Guest of honour at the next International Exhibition of Tourism and Travel in Colmar, France
Namibia is the tourist destination of honour at the Exhibition taking place in Colmar from November 6th to 8th. The Honourable Tommy Nambahu, the Vice-Minister of Environment and Tourism, will lead the Namibian delegation consisting of various different ethnic groups: officials, artists, and CEO’s of small and big enterprises, etc.
The Namibian authorities, who have been preparing for this event since 2014, wish to promote Namibian gastronomy, handicraft and folklore.
With 19 577 tourists in 2014, France is rated the 3rd country regarding the tourists’ origin (tourists from Southern African area excluded) and the country recording the biggest increase (+23%).
