Namibia represented by LEFA at Vivatech Paris

Shuttle service company LEFA, led by Melkisedek-Shivute Ausiku, has recently attended with the South African delegation Vivatech Paris. With such initiative, Melkisedek pushes for a technological turning point in Namibia, which is yet to be made.

LEFA is a shuttle requesting application that connects drivers and passengers. The headquarters are located at Fablab, in Windhoek. Namibia is facing major issues on its roads: a high mortality rate due to the dangerousness of the roads and drunk driving. To tackle this national problem, Melkisedek has decided to make the roads safer by despairing drivers to drive under influence by using its mobile solution.

The Namibian start-up was the only representative of its country during the event that was held in Paris. Nevertheless, Melkisedek strives for making its country organize its own delegation for the next Vivatech event, which will be held in Paris, France from May 16th to 18th 2019.
