Six months after the official launch of the French Business Club (FBC), French companies operating in Namibia met again on 29 October in Windhoek. Mr Sven Thieme, Director of the Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) was the Guest of honour. The Regional Director of French Development Agency (AFD), Mrs Martha Stein-Sochas and the Head of the Regional Economic Department, Mr. Serge Boscher, attended the meeting chaired by the Ambassador of France, Mrs Jacqueline Bassa-Mazzoni and the Director of AREVA in Namibia, Hilifa Mbako, Vice-Chair of FBC.

French Business Club, which currently has about twenty members, is a privileged space for dialogue on Namibia’s Economic Environment and promoting the interests of French companies. This fourth edition of the FBC is recorded particularly in view of the development of a Franco-Namibian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The next meeting of FBC should be held in March 2015.
