Visit of INNOSUN’s installations of solar panels in Katutura – 23 june 2015 [fr]
On the occasion of the visit of the Ambassador for climate change « Africa and Indian ocean », Stéphane Gompertz, and of the Regional director of the AFD (French Agency for Development), Martha Stein-Sochas, INNOSUN organized a visit to the installation of solar panels in Katutura. The French Ambassador, Mme Jacqueline Bassa-Mazzoni, and the city councilor Joseph Shikongo came along for the visit, which illustrated the French-Namibian company’s Social Responsibility projects in the field of renewable energies.
Guided by INNOSUN’s two directors, Usuta Imbili and Thomas Verhaeghe, the delegation visited KAYEC, a youth training center, and the Baby Haven orphanage.

Under its Social Responsibility program, INNOSUN donated 27 solar panels, costing a total of N$30 000, to the training center KAYEC (Katutura Youth Enterprise Center). The Baby Haven orphanage, which welcomes abandoned or abused children, also received a donation of 27 solar panels, enabling it to reduce its electricity bills and to have more resources dedicated to the children’s welfare.
